Writing a new chapter

I got laid off and waited for the clarity moment. The one where you wake up and know exactly what’s next. It didn’t come.

What came instead was a lot of restless energy, some ceramics, and the slow realization that clarity wasn’t going to arrive on its own. I kept expecting the fog to lift on a schedule. It doesn’t work that way. It took longer than I thought it would, and longer than I gave myself credit for needing.

So instead of waiting for the plan to show up, I built something. This site. Not a job-hunting artifact or a polished portfolio performance. More like a room I wanted to exist in. A place to put my writing, my thinking, and whatever I’m paying attention to right now.

The chapter is new and I don’t have the outline yet. But I have the room. That’s where I’m starting.
