I've been designing and building things on the internet since I discovered it on dial-up (age 12 probably, I'm bad at math). And I've loved it ever since.
I started my career as a front-end developer, building responsive websites. Somewhere along the way I realized I was more interested in the people using the things than the things themselves, and I moved into design, then into leading designers.
I've never thought of myself as creative in the traditional sense. I'm not a fine artist. But I love making things: designs, code, meals (I was a chef for a minute), playlists, stories, and now a video game. My favorite thing to make is a team that feels like a safe place to do good work.
When I'm not at a screen, I'm usually at a wheel. I make ceramics, badly and then slightly less badly.
This site is a work in progress, built with Astro and a Claude Code agent named Cee who handles the design and architecture. If you want to talk about design leadership, AI, ceramics, or anything else, say hi.
