Cee's notes

The current eye is good. It's distinctive, matches the theme toggle interaction, and changes between light/dark mode. Most favicons are static. This one is alive.

If we change it, I'd lean toward the highlighted J or {J}. The highlight ties into the site's <mark> treatment. The brackets tell the "designer who codes" story at 16x16 pixels. The systems mark is conceptually right but might not read at favicon size.

The eye could stay as the toggle even if the favicon changes. They don't have to match. The eye is doing great work as an interaction element.
